SPANK THE MONKEY

Inglaterra, 2006

"Spank The Monkey" was an urban and suburban art exhibition, with the aim of bridging the gap between the street and the traditional art space. With strong links in graphic design, graffiti, manga, skateboarding and surfing, this exhibition included artists who live in urban centers around the world. Some works had also been seen outside the museum space, with large-scale public interventions in Gateshead and Newcastle. OSGEMEOS performed an installation on the third floor of the museum, and also two other external projects: one artistic interventions in the Jesmond underground with Barry Mcgee, and a mural on the Newcastle Quayside.
