In 2005, OSGEMEOS created a big permanent mural in front of the subway station at Stillwell Avenue, Coney Island, for a project sponsored by Creative Time and Deitch Projects Gallery. The 130 meters long wall took about 3 weeks to be completed and it was the first work for this project, curated by Stephen Power. Creative Time is responsible for large public art projects throughout New York and the world. The project is guided by three core values: the importance of art, the importance of artists' voices in formating society, and that public spaces are places for creative and free expression.
